WELCOME
NEW EMPLOYEE
Since this
is your first day on the job we have prepared this handy guide to help
you. After all, you want to perform to the best of your ability and
we're here to help you. So let Barney the Beaver tell you things
you need to know.
Hi there!
I'm Barney the Beaver and I'm here to explain the rules of the spy business.
It's a tough business and you may have to get your hands dirty but there's
no reason why, with a little bit of care, we can't all have fun.
1.
All spies work as a team, but they also have a boss. Let's pick a
captain and you can bring what you've found back to him. He'll have
a code book that will help you.
2.
Spies sure are a secretive bunch aren't they! That's because they
don't know who to trust. So be very careful!
3.
Spies work best in small groups. That way they know who their partner
is and who they can trust.
4.
Some spies are better at finding things. Other spies are better at
shooting things. What kind of spy are you?
5.
Spy information comes in all forms. Sometimes you just find an envelope,
sometimes you have to give someone a password and then you get something,
sometimes it's numbers and sometimes it's there, right in front of lyour
eyes, and you just can't see it.
6.
Oooh, this spy business sure involves a lot of thinking, doesn't it?
But that's good for you. As in all government departments, remember:
If thinking hurts too much, just take an aspirin. If that doesn't
work, have a nap.
7.
Canadian spies are very polite and never, never hurt innocent bystanders.
Canadian spies also don't cheat. So, if you are going to shoot someone,
only do it in the park and not at Control!
8.
But watch out! Once you step into the park you could be the hunted.
9.
Go out and look. As soon as you think you've found what you're looking
for bring it back to Control where it can be compared to the code book.
10.
Sure, the pay is good, but what is the reward? Ask the nice man from
the government and he'll tell you.
11.
Once you've found what you are looking for you don't want to run any more
risks, so you'll be given instructions on how to get to a "Safe House"
12.
Since this is a critical assignment, you only have until 4:00 P.M.
If yoiu haven't finished your job by then, come back to Control to get
instructions.
13.
The high tech weaponry that has been assigned to your care is Government
property, so please take care of it and remember to return all guns to
the nice spy that gave them to you in the first place.
Well, that's
probably all you'll need to know... except for that little matter of the
cianide capsule, so...
HAPPY
SPYING
